Basalt Library and Aspen Film Present: Short Movies, Big Stories In-Person
Come to the library for bite-sized cinematic gems that open a window to the world! Basalt Library and Aspen Film are teaming up for a community afternoon of stunning short films and a talk with a very special guest. This heartfelt program consists of five films that celebrate the people who fill the landscapes of the heart and the places we call home. Family, love, loss, resilience, and magic are all a part of the journey.
Movie goers will have the opportunity to meet our special guest, Eric Mead, a magician and actor from one of the films. Eric is a performing artist who defies categorization. As an onstage travel guide, he conducts interactive tours of the fantastic--where imagination is king and everything you know about the world is called into question.
The event is FREE and open to the public. Films are appropriate for all ages, so make it a family event! Popcorn and drinks will be provided.

La biblioteca de Basalt y el Festival de Cine de Aspen se asociarán durante una tarde comunitaria de impresionantes cortometrajes y una conversación con un invitado muy especial. Este emotivo programa consta de cinco cintas que celebran a la gente que llena los paisajes del corazón y los lugares a los que llamamos “hogar”. Temas como familia, amor, pérdida, resiliencia y magia formarán parte de este recorrido.

El evento es GRATUITO y está abierto al público. Los cortometrajes son apropiados para personas de todas las edades, ¡así que lo convertiremos en un evento familiar! Ofreceremos palomitas de maíz y bebidas.
